Mirror Shapes explores the dynamic between agency and response through a cyclical exchange of movement and gaze. The hands alternately move and draw the artist’s attention, creating a continuous loop that reflects relational dynamics within the self and with others. This interplay of initiating and reacting highlights the fluid nature of cause and effect.
Interwoven with these movements are still shapes formed by the upper body, emphasizing shape, stillness, and form. These sculptural poses provide a visual contrast to the subtle hand gestures, framing the body as both a site of presence and a field for compositional exploration.
