Arrangements, discusses themes of tenderness, shame, and vulnerability. The film references the complexity of friendships that appear loving, but instead are encompassed in manipulation, dependancy and emotional abuse. The flower-body is plucked, cut, torn, and manipulated by the hands they’re in, until there is hardly anything left. Yet, the stems remain long and green. When the time comes, they will regrow.
