ABOUT
Erica Hart’s work is rooted in somatics, using internal experiences—shaped by sensation, sight, and sound—as the foundation for their creative process. Their performance and visual art create intuitive, abstract forms that reflect the environment and the transient qualities of nature. Drawing from their background in archives, they incorporate archival materials as inspiration for colour and form. Through documentation and gestural mark-making, Hart transforms observations into abstract maps of their inner landscape, exploring how the body perceives and engages with the world.
